Who you are
We believe that you are a skilled and innovative Embedded Software Engineer (M. Sc or B. Sc) that is dedicated to being part of a team delivering high quality software. You do this by being motivated, focused, taking initiatives, and being eager to learn. System development, continuous integration, design discussions, refactoring and pair programming is a natural part of your work. Development tasks could include anything from software design, microchip programming and test automation to debugging software issues. As part of the team, you do what needs to be done for a successful release, including investigating reporting bugs, writing documentation, taking part in pre-release testing, and doing performance measurements. We expect you to do great work, both as part of a team and independently.
Our client work in a global environment so you need to be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
What are we looking for
We are looking for a developer for our Embedded Team, the meriting experiences below may allow for a more senior specialization role, but at least you need to have:
• The ability to deploy the Embedded SW on COTS HW. (COTS meaning x86, AMD, GPU or other HW, which can be deployed in a Cloud environment.).
• Experience from Docker containers, Kubernetes deployment, Helm charts and familiar with concepts and core principles like canary deployment.
• Experience of Cloud Native Development
• Pipeline principles and tools – CI/CD (DevOps), Jenkins, Spinnaker is an asset.
Other meriting knowledge or specialization areas:
• Embedded SW development and Deployment on COTS HW
• C/C++, Go, Java, Python (any)
• 5G NR and LTE 3GPP standards (preferred)
• Linux
• CI/CD
• Test Automation
• AI/ML
