Who you are
We believe that you are a skilled and innovative Embedded Software Engineer (M. Sc or B. Sc) that is dedicated to being part of a team delivering high quality software. You do this by being motivated, focused, taking initiatives, and being eager to learn. System development, continuous integration, design discussions, refactoring and pair programming is a natural part of your work. Development tasks could include anything from software design, microchip programming and test automation to debugging software issues. As part of the team, you do what needs to be done for a successful release, including investigating reporting bugs, writing documentation, taking part in pre-release testing, and doing performance measurements. We expect you to do great work, both as part of a team and independently.
Our client work in a global environment so you need to be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
What are we looking for
Our client is currently looking for a developer to their Embedded Team, the meriting experiences below may allow for a more senior specialization role, but at least you need to have:
• Very good C programming skills and general MCU experience
• Embedded security and cryptography knowledge, symmetric and asymmetric techniques
Other meriting knowledge or specialization areas:
• Wireless communication experience, mesh
• RS232/485/I2C communication
• RFID/NFC/BLE technologies, communication stacks and protocols
• Debugging of embedded systems
• Understanding of microprocessor and system-on-chip architectures
• General hardware experience
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems, FreeRTOS, Zephyr
• Experience from Agile methodologies
